How to Wear your Uniform

  1. Uniform wearing, and rules:

  2. No one is allowed to wear a uniform from a different school or style.

  3. Your uniform must always be clean and neat.

  4. No eating in your uniform.

  5. The shirt top closes left over right (with the brand name showing).

  6. The shirt sleeve must not be lower than the wrist (fold if necessary).

  7. Pant leg rests on top of the foot (be careful not to walk on them).

  8. You cannot break a uniform up ie. Wear a uniform top, belt and shorts.

  9. Only WCRB Karate t-shirts can be worn with uniform pants and belt.

  10. Purple belts and above are allowed to wear a black uniform.

  11. Demonstration team and tournament players are the only ones allowed to wear specialty uniforms in class: camouflage, ninja, different colors etc.

 
 

Patches

Ages Six and UP

  1. The American Flag patch is attached to the right shoulder, two inches below seam.

  2. The D.E.L.T.A. patch is attached one inch below the American Flag

  3. The Honor Role patch is attached to the right chest on top.

  4. The Black Belt Club patch is attached under the Honor Role patch on the right chest.

  5. The Perfect Fitness, Perfect Front Kick, Perfect Roundhouse, and Perfect Stance patches are to be attached (In a Square) on the right chest Under the Black Belt Club patch.

  6. The Courtesy, Discipline, and Respect patches are to be attached to the right chest under the “Perfect” patches in a row.

  7. The Korean Flag patch belongs on the left shoulder, two inches below seam.

  8. The S.T.O.R.M. patch is attached one inch below the Korean Flag.

  9. The assistant instructor (leadership) patch belongs on the Left chest.

  10. The Student of the Month patch is to be attached on the left chest under the leadership patch.

  11. The Perfect Sparring, Perfect Forms, Perfect Side Kick, and Perfect Board Breaking patches are to be attached (In a Square) on the left chest Under the Student of the Month patch.

  12. The Focus, Team Work, and Perseverance patches are to be attached to the left chest under the “Perfect” patches in a row.

  13. The Gold Honor Role, Blue Community Service , and Red WCRB School Support Star patches go on the outside border of uniform starting at the chest.

Remember winning a patch is one of WCRB Karate’s highest honors and should not be slighted by not putting it on in a timely and proper fashion.

In addition, Tiny Tiger and Little Dragon Patches are to be worn as follows…

Tiny Tigers (ages 2 ½ to 4 years)

  1. The American Flag patch is attached to the right shoulder, two inches below seam.

  2. The Korean Flag patch belongs on the left shoulder, two inches below seam.

  3. The Tiny Tigers patch is attached on the left chest at the top

  4. The Gold, Blue and Red Star Patches are attached on the left chest, below the Tiny Tigers patch as earned

  5. The Courtesy, Discipline, and Respect patches are to be attached to the left chest under the “Star” patches in a row, as earned. 

Little Dragons (ages 4 ½ to 5 years)

  1. The American Flag patch is attached to the right shoulder, two inches below seam.

  2. The Little Dragons patch is attached on the right chest at the top

  3. The Gold, Blue and Red Star Patches are attached on the right chest, below the Little Dragons patch as earned

  4. The Courtesy, Discipline, and Respect patches are to be attached to the right chest under the “Star” patches in a row, as earned. 

  5. The Korean Flag patch belongs on the left shoulder, two inches below seam.
